Teresa’s interest for massage started in high school when recovering from severe whiplash and inflammation from a car accident. Once, she starting receiving massage treatments she was amazed in her healing process. She decided to attend The Institute of Natural Therapeutics in Mesa, AZ. She graduated in November 1999 with 500 hours. Since graduating she has continued her learning at Southwest Institute of Arts in Tempe and at AMTA Conventions. She went on and received her National Certification in June 2005. She has gained invaluable knowledge from working at local chiropractic offices, gyms, and her own private practice. This has taught her to personalize each treatment to her clients needs. She specializes in Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Sports, Pre-natal, and Hot Stone. She’s also attended Scottsdale Community College where she received her 200 hour teacher training in Iyengar and Hatha Yoga. She is a registered teacher through the Yoga Alliance and also a certified pilates instructor. Teaching and inspiring students in the valley since 2004 has become her passion. Recently, she has been studying and working with a Nationally known author and speaker on The Law of Attraction. From learning these principles and applying them to her life, it has lead her to work with a professional athlete trainer, retired professional football player, and a producer in filming a segment on health and fitness. One of the many things she has learned from working with the law of attraction is if you change your thoughts, you can always push beyond your comfort zone to achieve results you never thought you were capable of. Also, with being a wife and a mother, yoga and massage helps her to constantly work at balancing her life.
